[ He can't sleep. He won't sleep because something might suffocate him in his sleep. So Alice is wandering around feeling...absolutely paranoid. He hears these whispers, laughter in the voices of 88 little girls that won't go away. He's not going to look back at all today

[ He tenses and looks around anxiously. Is he hearing things or is someone talking to him? And because he's in a crazy mindset he doesn't quite see Atsuki. ]

[antisilent]

Atsuki Saijo. [...But crazy, you say? DELICIOUS SHINEN AWAITS HIM AS HE ACTIVATES Σ ON ALICE EVEN AS HE SAYS THAT.

Your crazy, show it to me.]

Oh. Right. [ He finally seems to actually notice Atsuki but still there's the paranoia. ]

[ So much paranoia, because the first time he wasn't cautious enough and nearly died. He keeps thinking of the little girls, the Regrets. And he's afraid of them because now he knows that they hate him. He doesn't hate them but he isn't going to die, because that'd just be pathetic. He's not giving them the name back either. These are the 88 Alice's that came before him, girls that lost everything for the name and still failed to become the true Alice. ]

[Isamu was out of bottled water.

That was his excuse, anyway, for being out this late. It had nothing to do with him having difficulty sleeping due to the red that still flickered along the walls every so often, or the fact that the hallways of Amala had once again appeared when he tried to walk into his bedroom. No, he was just out of bottled water, and didn't feel like drinking from the tap.

So he's walking back now, a twelve pack of water under one arm. He catches sight of a somewhat familiar figure and stops to squint at him in the dark.]

Yo. Everything all right over there?

[ Okay, these voices are clearly not female. And they're saying things he can understand other than his name. ]

[ It takes him a moment, and he still is looking only straight ahead, voice a bit shaky. ]

Y-yeah...

You sure? [He steps a little closer.] I met you in that other place, right? With the big blue monster things?

[And the lack of color, but the monsters were more memorable.]

[ Give him a moment to reassemble his scrambled brains. ]

[ She was close by when she heard the strange blond guy start to talk. Never mind that his voice sounds familiar... ]
