Well, Brady’s officially on his way out to Colorado, for good this time, leaving behind only the song lyrics stenciled on his ceiling, a couple holes in the wall, and a well-thumbed, bookmarked copy of Cannibis Culture magazine, sensitively left on the breakfast room table for my dad to stumble across.

"curlique" looks like it should be pronounced to rhyme with "clinique." I think the correct spelling is "curlicue?"

You're a good art-appreciator. I'm not necessarily talking about critiquing or technicalities, but there aren't very many people who can see something that someone else has done and really appreciate it. As in, to see past the sketchiness, unpracticed hands & beginner's mistakes to what the artist sees it as. There need to be more people like that. Art is more fun to show to people who see the life behind it, not just the problematic pencil strokes.

and tell brady I send my best & to have fun & he has to update us on new & developping tattoos.

Sometimes I think relationships with siblings are by far the most complicated -- more than with parents. Most seem to grow up together on the brink of being bitter enemies or best friends, ready to tear each other throats out or kill to avenge the other's honor. You play each other off the parents in vicious power struggles or unite and fight to the death against your parents. You know some of the most humiliating things about each other by virtue of spending your lives together. Somewhere between the admiration and jealousy, you manage to love each other anyway. I know not everyone is like this, but at least, that's how it has been with me and my sister and some others I've known.
