in which skitch realizes that his self-conscious questioning makes him more self-conscious.

man, i wish i could have been anywhere but home tonight. although, home wasn't that bad, don't get me wrong. it was definitely improved. but still, elsewhere would have been better.

old friends = good.
complete strangers = good.
superhero nerds = good.
insane amounts of flattery in one night = paranoid nicole.

err... it makes me uncomfortable? i always feel it's undeserved. i tend to wonder if i've been fishing for compliments lately.

only self-flattery is good. Otherwise it just seems like people want something and are being nice to get it.

Brandon, get your ass up here you dirty fuck.

people always want something and are being nice to get it. always. even yourself. you tell yourself you're gorgeous someday, you be careful. you know that night you're going to ask for something, and you aren't going to want to give it to yourself.

hey, nicole, guess what. in a moment of weakness and boredom, and needing someone to talk to, i broke my number one rule and made a livejournal thing, and you can look at it if you want. i probably would get rid of it already if i knew how. but it was fun. and i figure, since i have no friends here, this way, my old friends that i liked who have forgotten me, can look at things that i do, and give me advice about what to do about "jim."
