You know I can't resist this song...

Dean said yes.
He tried to bargain first. He made Michael promise not to lay a finger on his brother, still adamant in his denial of Lucifer, or on Castiel, who stood silent and nervous in the corner, stripped of almost every shred of grace already and still reviled by heaven. "Just get rid of old snake-eyes and save the world," Dean demanded. "That's all I'm giving you permission to do with my body. No tearing across the world, no letting the horsemen run free, no more smiting. You got it

No no no. You're our brother, too.

^ Those are all little pieces of my heart, seeing as this just ground it up into dust.
Oh, CAS. Worries about Sam when he's the one who's broken beyond repair. If he ever does have to go out on the show? I hope it can be as gutwrenching as this.

...and then Castiel was like, "HA! I PUNKED YOU, BABY!" and everybody spilled out of the place in the bathroom where they'd been hiding and the cameraman came out from behind the curtains and everybody made fun of Sam for crying.

I'm sorry but I'm busy weeping for our favorite angel.
Like haruslex said, if they ever write off Cas, it better be with a fucking BANG. A very awesome, possibly emotional bang. And then we will all flock to the spin off. What could that be called, hmm? "Cas's World" or "Inside the Angel" or, like the awesome Buffy spin off, simply the name "Castiel". Oooooh, I can feel chills.

*curls around Cas*
Yeah, this is pretty much even better than I was hoping for with that prompt. YOU WIN SO HARD.

And then there will be rainbows and ice cream sundaes.
...There aren't going to be any rainbows and ice cream sundaes, are there? :(
(In other words: well done ;-) )

And it makes you worry what else Michael will do with Dean's body that Dean didn't give him permission for.
