This is just beautiful. I love the references to the Will and the Word, and how Zachariah realizes that Dean can 'rebel' all he wants just because, well ... he's sworn to God and 'you guys' - to Castiel. And how much that pisses Zachariah off, and oh, OH, yes. And I like how he feels like he has to singlehandedly force everything back into place.
Castiel. It always came down to Castiel, and even that was an impossibility. This whole paragraph made me make little happy sounds.
And this line: Castiel, who sided with humanity, and Castiel, who would not stay dead. Oh, Zachariah. How much would you love to wring Castiel's neck.
