Gotta Break a Few Eggs, Misha, Castiel, PG, no spoilers [1/3]xaaraMarch 30 2010, 19:11:52 UTC
Ted's hooked him up with good shit before, but he's gotta admit, this whole out-of-body experience thing isn't his cup of tea. The funny part is, he can't remember exactly what it was he took, except he's staring at...well, at himself, and while the view isn't what he'd call bad, it's no kind of normal. Also, he apparently looks a lot like his character when he's tripping.
"Hello," he tries, wondering whether the other him (man, this encounter is forever going to fuck with his pronouns) will act like a mirror or talk back.
"You must come with me immediately," says the other him.
"Okaaay," says Misha, "here's the thing. No."
"Your life is in danger," says the other Misha.
Misha rolls his eyes and promises his wary kneecaps that this will not end like the time he convinced himself he needed to hurdle a wall to escape the KGB. "Look, you, whoever you, me. I'm not going anywhere. I'm drinking a gallon of Gatorade and lying down and closing my eyes until you go away

1) Your first foray into RPF writing coincides with my first foray into RPF reading... as others so eloquently say, *fuck you Misha, I used to be normal!* his power compels us
2) "We have our methods of amusement" is perhaps the best line I've read that showcases what we could loosely call "Cas's sense of humour"
3)"You kill me," he says, evenly, "and you will invoke the wrath of LiveJournal" is likewise perfection in dialectical characterization.

1) I'm so glad you decided to take a risk on it--it was intensely weird to write, but also, y'know, not. Since as others have commented, we're pretty sure Misha Collins is not actually a real person.
2) Cas is the funniest angel in the garrison. (Seriously, though, his sense of humor is really...funny. All the more so for its infrequent appearance.)

You don't even know how happy this fic made me. I read the first few lines this morning, then decided to torture myself and actually get ready for school. All throughout the day I would remember this and just grin. IT IS GENIUS. Only Misha can make me enjoy RPF. And the mentions of twitter and livejournal! Oh God, us minions would totally pool all our power together and destroy Lilith (somehow)

Oh, now you made me grin!
A friend and I are working on this theory that Misha Collins is actually some sort of robot/mythical creature hybrid sent to collect data on earthlings and bring it back to his masters. Because seriously, that dude.
Someone up the thread mentioned a fic that has Becky harnessing the Power of the Interwebs to defeat Lucifer, which is just PERFECT. And true.

Hee, thanks! (I hope that was a FFFFFF of emphasis and not of spitting coffee all over your keyboard, which I may or may not have done once or twice during this commentfic festival. *cough*)
