The first few days were easy.  Last week not so much, but now I think I've gotten over the hump.  Alcohol doesn't need to be my friend, although I still feel like I'm depriving myself by not drinking.  I haven't achieved the moment of zen/clarity that Mikey seems to have found

I dont miss it, but I agree that I think I am depriving myself. I love wine for the delicious taste, not for the use of being drunk. Although it makes for a perfect companion when your inner Booze Hag needs to escape, and it also helps you relax when you need to unwind.

I find enlightenment dead easy, being the resident mystic/wiseman/shaman/spirit healer I have certain job skills. ;)
