You go. You have a drink. You conveniently forget.

Depending on how seriously you are taking this.If you want to buddy up just give me a call if you feel you are going to drink. It might work.

If you think you'll actually be able to talk me out of having it over the phone!

I might do.

personally if this were me, i'd just go an enjoy myself.

i guess you have to weight up what you're getting out of the detox against that whole "depriving yourself" thing...

True that. I'm going to try and hold out. An extreme test on my willpower.

I think you should stick to your month of happy healthiness. It's not that bad. Stopping at the first sign of trouble is weak and giving up...

You can still taste wine when you go to a winery, you just have to spit it out quickly ;)

Oh, it's not the first sign of trouble!

It's been 39 days. I started before I knew there was going to be Maydetox and thought, hey, I've done this much, lets see how far I can go.

O RLY? I didnt know that bit... That's pretty cool! If you think not drinking is going to ruin your time away I guess go for it, but if you can stick to your guns and get through it, you know you have more fortitude than you expected! :D

I reckon you can do it. It's all about your mindset - try to find some other treat to replace the wine. Believe in yourself and remember you're almost halfway there! It would be a pity to crack now.

I made it through a friend's birthday at Little Creatures last weekend. That's my favourite place in the whole world, and I drank Lemon, Lime and Bitters all night. But I came home feeling very accomplished, and I still had fun because I was with good friends - not because I was drinking. Focus on your friends. Enjoy an early morning (non-hungover) walk. Buy LOTS of cheese and chocolate if you like them, and if you're only avoiding alcohol this month. There's a lot more to Margaret River than booze.

YOU CAN DO THIS!

Chocolate and cheese in large commodities. I like the way you think. I'll fill myself to the brim with those. Good call.

Bring me chocolate and cheese! :D

I have confidence you'll make it through this weekend boozeless.. if you choose to do so.

Depending on what you're trying to learn/show yourself, I think it's worth continuing the detox. Will choosing not to imbibe really lessen the intent of the celebration?
