Maizy, from what you're writing about, you haven't even neared Bridezilla lunatic territory. When you start to seriously contemplate a $500 cake topper is when I'll start to worry about you
( ... )
I figure most people don't actually care about the endless minute little wedding details I've become pathetically obsessed with.
It's because I sound like a lunatic. Hmmm. I'll just have to hope that my dear friends forgive me and welcome me back when I return to sanity in June.....
First, you don't sound like a lunatic. You sound like just about every single OTHER bride-to-be that I've ever known, and I've known a LOT.
Second, I love to hear about your wedding planning and what not! We're so out of touch these days (though I consider hearing from you once every 3-4 months to be in-touch), I'm very happy to hear whatever news you care to share!
The vest story reminds me of my buddy Bill's wedding. He wanted a full vest too... in green camo (ex-Army, police, etc.). His wife approved but he would have had to have gotten it custom made as well, so elected not to.
And to share something with you, I got a new job back in November, working for JP Morgan Chase now! :-)

Yes I am. Not only am I making a LOT more money, I'm working with a large team of other developers and some really cool people. They've flown me out to Salt Lake City once, and I'm going back there again next week.
The only crappy thing is that my 20-40 minute commute is now an hour and change. But on the plus side, all I do is drive to the grocery store down the street (3 minutes), to a "park & ride," hop a bus to the train station, then take the train into downtown.

Somedays... I think I'm starting to go bridezilla - then I look at the knot forums or weddingplans on LJ.
I realize then I have a LONG way to go before I go that nutty.
