Just saw this...loved, loved, loved it.   I never saw the original musical, so I don't know how it compares  (though I have seen Jennifer Holliday's amazing performance at the 1982 Tony's on You Tube), but I loved the movie.

Go see it if you haven't!

I swear, not ONE of my friends wants to see this with me. My mouth is agape in disbelief.

I don't even think my MOM was all that jazzed about the possibility...and she LOVES musicals.

I'm so confused I don't know where to begin...
