I like Paris, and I was more than happy to head back for another 5 days to be an artists model. The apartment in Montmartre squeezed three of us in and a bunch of in progress works. A studio apartment in St Michel overlooking the River Seine and Notre Dame was the scene for some Matisse inspired works where we worked each day, watching the tourists ( Read more... )

In all too short a time, it was time to leave Texas and head back to the Big Apple. I crashed again on a friends couch and the following day I met Mum at the Bolt Bus stop in Manhattan and we caught the bus to Boston to stay for a couple of nights. After my time with Mum and Lyn came to an end, it was time to fly out to Houston, Texas, somewhere I hadn't been back to since 1999. I first went to Texas as an 18 year old to work at a Girl Scout Summer Camp, Camp Bette Perot.
