Hey internet - what laptop should I buy? Keep in mind I'm on a budget. I want a MacBook, but I don't think I can afford it.

Preston is selling his. I think for something like 500-600. It's pretty new, and very nice.

I wanted an e-mac but I couldn't afford it so I bought something I didn't like as much that was only 400 dollars cheaper if I would have held out or financed it I would have been much better off. Mac does good financing (make payments) so get what you really want you won't have to buy a new one sooner.
