Ah, I read this on your tumblr, I really like it. You hint at the power games really well but still make it seem positive and likely - and make Naomi's reasoning and thoughts feel really plausible.

Thanks! :) L is such that most interactions with him will be a game of power, whether he wants to or not or however dangerous the situation might be. This is made more extreme by the fact that, despite being so powerful, there are some areas where he is far behind everyone else.

Definitely. But then one can never tell how far behind he actually is, or if at least some of it is a ruse to keep his opponent off-guard... ^_^

Yes, indeed. I had a conversation about this on Tumblr, this week, and it was, specifically, to do with the fact that, when we first meet him, he's a little different from the L we see, later on. One aspect that sticks in my head is that, without his childlike quirks, he's going to be fairly intimidating being as powerful as he is, and he would want to present a disarming front. I think it's safe to say, though, that he's still going to be a little eccentric. I do think of him as being pretty inexperienced when it comes to sexual relationships, and that's largely to do with the fact that it just would not be a high priority for him.
