[ Really, the whole town was sort of going crazy and doing all sorts of strange confessions over the phone, but.. maybe Nadeko just wanted to escape it a little by doing this. Something as simple and happy as making cookies would distract her from all it, right..? And while she hadn't talked to Kotomi much, the other girl seemed like a nice person.

So Nadeko hurries over to Anderson Lane, determined to not let the other girl wait too long. By the time she gets to the house, she's a little out of breath, even. ]

--Ah, right, cookies!

[ She nods to herself, trying to shake off the unnerving feeling. ]

Um, we'll need to have the ingredients first.. Where do you keep all the food here?

[Kotomi thinks for a moment.]

Most of the things we eat are in the fridge or the cabinets to the right of it. [Pointing~]

Let's see..

[ She walks over to the fridge and peers in it (and the cabinets), before putting some cookie dough ingredients on a table. ]

H-here, there we go.. Um, we just need to mix these together, I think.

Wha...what about the oven? [Sudden recollection time~!]

That's right, you use the oven after that.. You can cut cookie shapes out of the dough, and then you put those in the oven so you can bake them.. S-see, it isn't that hard, is it?

I suppose it isn't, hmmm... Do you make your own food at home, Nadeko-chan?

Um, well.. Not a whole lot..

[ She sounds a little awkward, since she knows the situation for Kotomi is different. ]

Mama is usually the one who made the food back home-- before Mayfield, that is.

They are the people that were assigned as my.. um.. parents here.. But they are really kind and helpful, so I'm very glad I was able to end up with them. I must have been really lucky..

Oh, yes. That I understood. But...their names are Japan and Taiwan?

... O-oh.. Yes, they are. It's a little confusing, a-and it's understandable if you don't believe me, but they're actually personifications of countries or something like that..
