DAY 1 - TUESDAY wondering_eye August 16 2011, 17:52:25 UTC

[Another day of getting up and feeding the animals, but it seems that someone has brought in the milk today. Well, he'll take one bottle in curiosity as he goes around the house to feed the animals their morning meals.]

Odd. I thought there was some sort of agreement not to drink this. What is this doing in the house?

[she's up early in the morning as well, due to her usual habit of waking early to prepare for the day ahead from back home. She was just about to move into the kitchen to prepare just a little something for the other members of the household, when she noticed Enkidu --]

Good morn-- [-- and likewise, the bottle in his hand] -- isn't that poisoned? [she'll point at that bottle in his hand]

Ah, good morning. [He pauses in the middle of feeding to place the bottle of milk down somewhere else to use both of his hands for feeding the animals and moving from one place to another.]

If my knowledge about it is correct, then yes. It should be if not contaminated by something that would make someone sickly or harmed in some manner. How it got inside the house is another question.

Shouldn't we just throw it away if that's the case? [despite the fact that she disapproves of wasting food... but since it's poisoned, it's... a special case, right?]

[He turns to look at her and nods his head sternly.] Yes. Dump it somewhere or throw them away. The faster we are rid of that filth, the more we don't have to worry about it later.

[a brief nod, and she'll go on to pick that bottle up, and that other one on the table as well.] I'll go pour it away then.

[He glances at her from the side of his eyes and then returns his attention to the animals before him. Having so little time left to do his actions before fading out, he wanted to at least do the little things so it's taken care of.] I'm leaving that to you then.

[While she's pouring that away, she'll look back out of the kitchen] I've been wondering for a little, though... Where do you go to for the most of the day? I don't think I've ever seen you around dinner at all.

I die. I don't actually have much to live for long by the end of the morning at most. My body is different compared to others, so every time I fade out, I come back to life the next morning by Mayfield's resurrection methods. [And he replies to all of this matter of factly.]

You... die?! Isn't there some way to stop that from happening?

Find a good magic user and live off their mana, but I am quite picky on whom I would settle my life with in that sort of thing.

Ah... [... I supposes she'd have what he calls mana eventually, but his being picky... The odds are that she's not good enough for him either way. So she brushes that thought out of her mind.]

[an entity that lives off mana, though... She'll go back to what she was doing - pouring away that milk, and preparing breakfast for the family.]

[Almost as soon as Keine finishes pouring out the milk, Satori starts to feel strange - and then, everything is perfectly normal, and it's just another sunny day in Mayfield! Just like always.

And what better way to celebrate the good weather than to tear up some innocent people?

Danmaku is nonlethal, so there's no sense in using it. Probably better to use a knife, instead! So she heads into the kitchen to get one, smiling brightly all the while, even humming to herself.]

[Being in the kitchen...]

[okay. Something's definitely off. Satori's usual lineface is gone, and she's actually... smiling. And humming to herself. That and she's grabbing hold of a knife!

This can't be one of those things that happen here... right?]

Satori? Are you... alright? [she'll begin to move closer to Satori, having been frying an egg at the stove.]

Of course I'm alright, Mother! I'm just feeling peachy keen!

[She hoists the knife up and points it at Keine.]
