[Oh hey, no surprise to anyone, Pokey has decided to gravitate towards the concession stand. Unlike usual, though, he isn't just entirely pigging out and digging in to the bag of popcorn he has. Instead, he's just leaning against the side of the stand, slowly eating his popcorn, kernel by kernel. It's an oddly slow, deliberate process.

He looks like he's thinking, and having a hell of a time doing so.]

[This is directed at Ai. Really, who needs to see more of Edward in his spandex?]

[Looking over at Slugger.]

Is someone in the comics?

Sure is. Has a whole bunch of comics of him committing some stupid crime and then getting beaten up.

Kind of like here. But the results aren't usually as bad.

[Picking contemplatively at his cotton candy, he looks around once again at the sparsely populated fairgrounds. Of course, Slugger noticed almost immediately upon arrival that there is no one here who looks much older than he does, and somehow it seems familiar.]

I wonder where he is now. And the others.

Well it's September. For the past two years they've paired teens together and adults together and locked them in small places like a hotel room for a few hours.

Right. And you were here for the summer camp last year, weren't you?

[God knows he remembers that. He's been thinking about it all day.]

Oh. Gross.

[Human romance does not settle well with him and likely never will. The memory of last year's "summer camp", once recalled, is now clear in his mind. His gaze shifts to Pokey.]

We both were. You were carrying the head.

[He also remembers following you and harassing you for entertainment purposes. You weren't his friend then. It makes him realize how different things are now.]

I was stuck in a car with a country. But Aisling told me about it.

Yeah, I was carrying the head. And Kat and I dissected the drone teens bodies. And then I went to look around the lake with 86 and-

[Found nothing. But it was fun. And he enjoyed it. So he just shrugs.

And he shrugs a little, uncomfortably. He knows things have changed. He's...happy they have, he guesses. But it does show how long he's been here.]

Except the man in the mask. He killed the drones then disappeared into the lake. That was interesting.

[Come to think of it, that could have been the Milkman in disguise.]

The year before that we were in a daycare. But nothing really happened.
