-HE HAD LITERALLY JUST GOTTEN HOME. THE KEYS WEREN'T EVEN OUT OF HIS POCKET YET. HE WASN'T ARMED. ASHTON'S LUCK. IT IS FUCKING TERRIBLE.-

[Welp. You're right about that, because it had just taken up too much of Keine's willpower to stop the beast from continuing to try and fight against Balin.]

[This means that the beasts actions were now unrestrained by Keine herself, and once it spots you?]

[Ashton, you have roughly 5 seconds to get out of the way, or get yourself caught between the door and Keine's head, stuck between her horns.]

-Ashton does two things. One, he screams like a little girl. Second, he does in fact manage to dodge Keine's cavingcharge. He makes mad dash for the garage.-

[hystorical]

[CAAAAVED I mean no wait what. Impaling her horns into his door, she'll be stuck there for a moment, growling in frustration. Jeez that was stupid of her.]

-GOTTA FIND THE MACHETE.-

[hystorical]

[Once the beast dislodges herself from the door, she'll go bounding after that unfortunate man, who was having no luck finding that machete he was looking for.]

[It'll be just a beat before she gets into the garage and announces her presence with yet another growl.]

-Lucky for him, he finds the machete. Both of them. And, suddenly, he's a lot less panicked. Wielding them like he would his swords, he stands ready for her.-

Back! Back I say!

[hystorical]

[So the unlucky one gets lucky! Well, good for him, but he'll be unpleasantly surprised pretty soon.]

[The machete doesn't serve to scare or drive the beast back at all. What's there to fear in blades as short as those, anyway? She'd sooner tear up the arms holding them than allow the blades to touch her.]

[As if to demonstrate that, she growls once again, and takes one menacing step after another towards him; cautious, but in no way afraid.]

Vanishing Blades!

-In a flurry of leaves from seemingly nowhere, the man she approached disappeared from view entirely.-

[hystorical]

[Well, that was abrupt. Keinebeast could only look about, curious at how someone could disappear just like that, and lurk about the place just a little bit.]

[backseat_dragon]

-The leaves seem to gently waft about before another flurry comes... and with it, Ashton, aiming a spinning cut with both blades at the woman's side.-

[hystorical]

[Woah, surprise surprise, Keine! She'll try to leap to the side to avoid the blades, but they would no doubt graze her side even if she did so, leaving cuts behind, and causing her to let out a horrible shriek of pain.]

[However, the pain doesn't drive her away from the scene; it only serves to anger the beast further, as she lets out a terrifying roar at Ashton, before charging forward again, this time aiming to swing her claws at him.]

[It doesn't even matter to her where she'll hit.]

-Ashton manages to cross his blades in defense, catching the claw.-

[hystorical]

[Oh? But is he prepared for a kick from both the beast's legs? Because that's what the beast is going to do right now; push off from the ground to send her feet towards his general abdominal region and quite possibly his groin]

-... Yep. Those sure are his grapefruits...-
