[Sakuya couldn't sleep that night. She felt restless, since the full moon was out. And so, with a kiss to Blue, she dressed, including her knives, and went for a walk. She wasn't expecting to need to use them, but better to be safe than sorry.]

[There she was, prowling on the rooftops of Albright Lane, without a care in the world. She hadn't noticed the maid just yet, but as if on cue, she'll let out a gutteral roar towards the sky, as a sort of a release for the constant building up of emotions the true Keine was feeling, being witness to the events of the night thus far.]

[Sakuya turns at the moment she hears that feral call, the wild-sounding noise. She didn't think to bring a light with her, but she still manages to make out a figure by the light of the streetlamps. The maid takes a knife from her sleeve and looks up.]

Who's there?

[Oh, just someone you might remember having defeated before, with your Master with you then. And it's a bad idea to call out to her, Sakuya - she wouldn't even have noticed you if you didn't do that.]

[While you wouldn't have been able to make out who it was on the roof, the beast here certainly could make out who you were... Only it isn't exactly able to recognize anyone at all in its feral state.]

[Sure enough, the beast would be to make the first move before its prey could. It would now leap from the rooftop, and directly towards you, Sakuya, claws extended and ready to give you a few nasty cuts.]

[Those claws landed, Sakuya not being fast enough to dodge them. She hissed in pain at those scratches to her arms and legs, then did what she had to - stopping time long enough to get some distance on - who was that? They seemed familiar, but not. Where did she know them from?

No matter. She set her knives in throwing position, then started time again, sending them flying. Nothing fatal, but certainly a solid warning shot.]

[It was as if perspective suddenly changed for the beast; one moment her prey was right before her, and the next moment her prey had retreated far behind, with knives flying right at her when that happened ( ... )

Rapid healing. Must be related to the moon? I can't stop time long enough to change the moon.

[Sakuya's mind was well into attack-mode, then. She paused time just long enough to pick up those dropped knives and once again gain distance. It was then that she noticed her eyes. Those weren't the eyes of a killer. Still...

No time to debate whether it was worth trying to coax out that other side. If she knew anything about lycanthropy, it was that the beast-side was always stronger when uncontrolled. So, when she restarted time, she moved into a defensive stance. Keine might have noticed that she looked tired, a little pale, but still all right enough to litter the path towards her with those knives of hers.]

[Those eyes... they're telling you to get away, leave, RUN]

[More knives. The beast is definitely going to try to avoid those, alright-- but to minimal success. More knives are going to lodge themselves into her; this time into her arms, her abdominal regions, her legs. Enough to cripple her for some time.]

[The beast will no doubt cry out in terrible pain, before it begins to once again pluck out those knives; it would hurt far too much to chase after its prey with those still stuck, after all.]

[What do, Sakuya?]

You don't want to do this.

[Another time stop, long enough to grab her things and gain distance again, but she looks even weaker after this one. She has to lean against a tree to catch her breath after this one, so unlike her. Sakuya tries to shake it off, but she can't, not right away.

What do?]

[Keine herself doesn't, yes. But the same cannot be said for the beast - She wants nothing more than to grab onto this knife-throwing person and rip those arms from her torso.]

[And certainly both Keine and beast would see how Sakuya appears weaker and weaker as she seemingly 'blinks' further and further away. -- that is, if the beast wasn't still busy pulling those knives from herself.]

[Sakuya's going to 'blink' away one more time, but from the way she's breathing hard and leaning against the fence, she's not going to be doing that many more times, if any.

She'll have to do with just keeping her distance for the moment.]

[At that point, a sudden idea occurs to the beast. Why not try to throw the knives back at its owner?

So with the "strength of several grown men", you might just find your own knives flying at you at amazing speeds--- except they wouldn't be all that accurate.

That's not to say the beast wouldn't get lucky and score a hit, though; if one does score a hit, it'll probably practically go right through the body instead of getting stuck in it.]
