Finale; Closed to Mokou + Pursuers amongst Victims

[hystorical]

[After a night of carnage, the beast finally found herself standing in the middle of a street, her clothes largely torn but still maintaining her modesty, and surrounded by the braver and stronger among those she had attacked. But while the Keine inside truly, and desperately does not want this to happen, she's realizes there was no more she could do about this... Except leave it to the beast and wait for someone in this crowd to put an end to her misery.]

[And before all semblance of desperation, misery, and apology disappear from her eyes... Keine was just able to mutter her last few words--] Help me... Mokou. [Before the beast took control entirely, and let out a feral roar, before charging headfirst into a select point among the gathered heroes.]

[hystorical]

[In those moments where Mokou is in the air and distracted by the tree, the Keinebeast had already gotten on her feet, and was rushing right at Mokou, who was now sprawled on the ground by the tree.]

[headbutt incoming in 5, 4, 3, 2--]

[think fast!]

[Mokou raises to her feet, but only jumps away at the last moment. Aim? Well, I guess getting her horns stuck in the tree...]

[It works. You have thirty seconds (or possibly more, depending on what you do) while the beast struggles to get her horns out of the tree.]

[Unfortunately, Mokou doesn't really have a plan this time around. All she's really doing is holding off that goddamn hakutaku till sunrise. She just takes that time to try and see if she managed to break something with that tree-hit.]

[hystorical]

[Right. Remember what you said the other time about "someone with the strength of several grown men"? Well, it's kind of taken literally here; she's got the endurance of several grown men as well, so nothing's actually going to break.]

[Soon enough, the beast would have plucked herself from the tree, and is now right on you again; it's a good thing that it's probably barely another 5 minutes before the sunrise.]

[She has no plan at this point. No plan at all. So she's just gonna brace herself here.]

[aaand another ram, and Mokou will likely be flying to a nearby building again.]
