(She can't help but feel worried when she sees that brown bottle of strong alcohol. She's seen the effects of Scrumpy on some other people, and it's never been pretty. Still, maybe the BLU Scout can hold his liquor better than most?

Hopefully.)

How about we get you a shot glass, Mr Scout? That way the Scrumpy will last longer.(And you won't start chugging it down like it's water, she adds silently.)

It's his birthday, let 'em at the bottle.

*Oh Scout. Sniper is not looking out for your best interests AT ALL.*

(Oh no.)

I don't think that's a good idea...it IS the last bottle of Scrumpy. Wouldn't it be better to savor it for as long as you can?

(She's still trying to save the BLU Scout from a trip to the hospital.)

When's anyone ever gonna want t' drink this piss again?

At the next birthday party, perhaps?

(Who is she kidding, she might as well make sure that the BLU Scout will have a place to lie down when he's completely smashed later. And just in case, she's going to have to find a designated driver, in case a trip to the hospital is needed.)

Half a bottle fer Scout today an' the rest of it for RED Scout when it's his turn.

*Come on, seeing Scout totally tossed may be the hilight of Sniper's stay here.*

Ah...

(Having both Scouts drunk on their birthdays? The BLU Sniper is evil...)

Well, I suppose that's...reasonable...

*He's normally not, but he might have gotten started on the drinking a mite early.*

I'm a reasonable sort 'f bloke. *He smirks.* Don't worry, he can't drink that much 'f it anyway.

(Because he'd probably pass out by then, she silently adds.)

I guess...

I've actually never tried Scrumpy before myself, come to think of it.

*Oh that smirk isn't good at all.*

No?

No. I've never really had any sort of alcohol, except for the occasional cocktail here and there.

(What are you getting yourself into, Miss Pauling?)

Now's th' time to fix that. Never know when we'll actually have Scrumpy around here again.

*Sure, an occasional cocktail here and there has prepared her for the unholy mixture of paint thinner and battery acid that makes up the backbone of Scrumpy.*

I don't know Mr Mundy...we might need a designated driver later, just in case people drink too much alcohol that they can't head back home without someone else behind the wheel.

(Plus, she's heard horror stories about Scrumpy.)

Could you not call me that? Makes me feel loike you're about t' give me bad news.

Guess so, or we'll find people passed out all over Scout's yard.

I always address people as such, but if you're not comfortable with it, what would you like me to call you then?

(She winces at the imagery.)

That...would be a difficult situation. (She's already separating everyone in the crowd into two groups: Those likely to get drunk, and those who are going to get smashed. Hopefully the former would still be able to manage to get the others back home. Otherwise...well, it's a good thing she got everyone to bring their blankets along.)
