Lancer?
[She finally decides to just call out to him, whether he can hear her or not.]

[When she finally sees him, she is still for all of one second before wrapping her arms around him in a hug. He is alive, and he is real.]
[She knows it is embarrassing. She knows that it oversteps the boundaries of their relationship, seeing as how they are no more than friendly acquaintances. Yet she can't help it. She's just so happy that her hero is alive.]
Lancer...
[She feels tears streaming down her face. It is as if her body wants to make things more embarrassing that they already are. Even as she wills herself not to cry, the tears continue coming. And yet she also feels like laughing through her tears. She has never felt anything like this before. It completely destroys her image as a calm, rational Enforcer and a mature person, but she cannot care less at this time.]
Sorry. I am afraid that I am not at optimum condition right now.
[Even as she apologizes, she cannot stop smiling or blushing.]

[So he just sighed and hugged her back, shaking his head slightly. Neither of them were in great condition--hell, Lancer doubted anyone really was.]

S-sorry...
[She continues to apologize.]
I-I know it's silly. Something like this can't kill a hero like you. But I was...worried about you. After all, you are my ally, and if you will allow me to think so, my...friend.
[She takes a deep breath, trying to calm down. She slowly, reluctantly, starts letting go of him.]
I am glad to see you alive. Have you had any contact with your Master yet?
[She has lost sight of Tohsaka in this crowd.]

[She supposes that the nod is in response to both her request and her later question. However, there is something strange about his method of answering her.]
Lancer, are you okay? Why are you not speaking?

[Sighing, he took her hand and slowly started to trace letters out on it as he'd done with Rin earlier.]
Fine. Long story.

Go ahead. Tell me everything.

[Lancer sighed again--shame he hadn't found anything to actually write with. He didn't even know if Bazett knew just what kind of function the post office had here, and it was a lot to explain. Especially using a method of communication like this.]
Ask Rin to explain. She can still talk.
[A pause--Lancer smirked slightly and continued.]
Hard part's shutting her up.

[Servants should have been less vulnerable to the smog that filled the air. If a human like Bazett could still talk, then how come a Servant like Lancer could not?]

[With everything that was going wrong, Lancer could at least say that much for certain.]

...Post office?
[Did a voice even count as something that could be given up?]

[He crossed his arms and gave a slight nod to confirm it. Turns out the phrase 'take whatever the hell you want' was a really stupid thing to say. Hindsight, oh well.]

[Turns out trading in her left arm for a Noble Phantasm that she couldn't use because they did not automatically grant her back her magic circuits was not a smart idea. To make it worse, the regain had gone away and her arm had grown back, meaning her trip to the post office was completely useless.]
You could have told me earlier. I would have gotten your voice back.
[Since Lancer's regain was something that he could apparently still use under these conditions, it would have been more logical for her to give up her arm to help him.]
At least this does not affect your combat capabilities.

[Okay, now he just looked flat-out embarrassed.]
Did it for Archer. Don't tell him.
[Not like Lancer knew it didn't work that way. Oops.]
