OOC Reason For Applying: I'd really like to have Scout involved more in plot things! He's been making a lot of plans and he's been here a long time.
IC Reason: Scout thinks this would be a good opportunity to learn info on Grady and the inner workings of Mayfield. You know he really wants to investigate this and bring Mayfield down if he's considering being a COP and work with GRADY. He hates cops. A LOT. But he's gotta do what he's gotta do!
Your Attachment To This Character: I WILL DROP SCOUT WHEN I'M DEAD. I've been looking to get him more involved in things since I've had him here so long, I'm running out of new post ideas for him (though I still tag around a lot with him). This is a perfect opportunity for me to get him further mired in the game.

Police orientation begins on Sunday, December 11th. Show up at 8:00 AM sharp!
Scout will receive a letter in the mail tomorrow morning thanking him for his application to the Police Station. Of course, your character would never have applied for it himself, but Grady seems to think so, as the letter is signed by his very own hand.
There will be a log going up Sunday, December 11th taking place in the Police Station wherein Grady will put your character through training. We will PM you when the log goes up; we expect all hired characters to tag the log, or else they will lose their new job right away. Nobody wants a colleague that didn't even show up for training!
Things to note:
• Backtagging for the mini-event is okay if you are not available on Sunday. There will be little to no plot relevance; it is strictly a

OOC Reason For Applying: To try to be more IC with the Doctor as he's a guy who sticks his nose into everything to find answers and wouldn't ever sit idly around. So basically, a way to involve him more in the plot to better my playing of him.
IC Reason: The Doctor has a strong sense of justice and also a strong desire to learn the secrets of the town. Not only to eventually try to get out, but to be able to protect the people he cares about in the town. He also tends to operate by getting information and then working with it, as opposed to any sort of violent means.
Your Attachment To This Character: He's currently my main and only muse. So basically, I will drop him when I die. Also his canon is about to start its new series so I will have a lot more to do with the character come April.
Your Workload: Currently, I work a part time job and am pretty open. Mayfield is my only RP. However, come March 24th I will be studying abroad in Japan. I will only be going to school, and not working so I will have more time than I did

OOC Reason For Applying: Specifically, for this character, I'd like to get Grimsley involved more with the things that happen in the town, and to give him an opportunity for more CR. As a player, the same reasons more or less apply. I have an (unhealthy) investment in this game's plot, and I want to be involved as much as possible.
IC Reason: He's peeved at the treatment he's received in the first few months of his stay here, and he's ready to turn the tables now that he understands how the town works. As a member of the Elite Four, he has a fair amount of experience dealing with responsibility and rule-enforcement; though it's never stated outright, it's likely that the Elite Four is responsible for organizing the Pokemon League, gym battles, and the League challenges. It's also explicitly seen in the anime that members of the Elite Four take it upon themselves to deal with issues in regards to criminal usages of Pokemon.

OOC Reason For Applying: I'm relatively invested in the game at this point, and would really like to become more involved. Alongside this, I've wanted to give the Major a chance to have a position of "authority" to actually show a side of him that, when put in it, he actually can somewhat wield authority while, not entirely appropriately, well and is capable of working with another group, especially a structured one.
IC Reason: The Major loves authority and possessing it. That's just a fact. Alongside this is the fact that, despite his sometimes chaotic/random appearance in his actions? The Major craves structure. He's a career military man, and he understands the idea of working with a focused, structured group more than he does working on his own. He also wants a chance to view what'll be happening with another outsider being made chief, if it happens, without putting himself at risk, considering he could imagine shit could go very wrong for whoever gets the position

OOC Reason For Applying: I’m looking for a way to get Neal more involved in things, especially since he doesn’t have any castmates here. Plus, it makes sense, since he works with the FBI in his canon. And I want to be more involved in the overall plot in general!
IC Reason: Though he’d probably never admit it, he does like working with the FBI. It’s kind of a major plot point in the current season that he’s struggling between his life of crime and his life with the FBI, and the FBI life seems to be winning. As for a reason that he’d actually give, well, he’d mention that he works as a consultant with the FBI, and therefore has some experience. But he wouldn’t admit that he likes it.
Your Attachment To This Character: Fairly strongly attached, though admittedly I do occasionally struggle with his voice. I am actively watching the show more or less as it airs, so I can keep up to date on any character developments (especially newly revealed backstory that might make a difference).
