[Where on earth did these strange buildings keep coming from? Without bothering to wait for permission for the rest of his "family," Edward pulls his car into the gas station lot.]

We're stopping.

The entire drive here, he's been nothing but silent, just absorbing the new surroundings. Presently, he pauses to look up at the diner and makes no further move to go in.]
