How long does my app need to be?-We don’t have a set limit, but we’re looking for a decent length for the personality section. On the other hand, try not to murder the mods with a giant app. Generally, we want at least 4 good-sized paragraphs on the personality

I'm thinking about applying for a pet who is unable to communicate with humans for most of her canon, but receives the ability of speech (and then shows some personality) for a bit at one point of her canon.

If I took her from exactly that point of time and apped her into a pet slot, would she be allowed to retain the ability to speak or would she have to regain that?

If I didn't take her from that point of time (it.... is kind of meta and side-canon-y and from one of the time when her canon just eats the fourth wall and might be troublesome for her canonmates), could I still have her regain the ability to speak a human language at a later point?

She wouldn't be able to retain the ability to speak upon arrival, but could regain it, yes!
