What: Sweden and France don't know that the other one is in Mayfield, too. France does not want to meet vikings. He probably shouldn't have made his teachers give him detention.

There were a lot of things that the guy behind the desk had complained about, but it all seemed to come down to "sit in this room and be quiet". Some kind of punishment, apparently. They had given him a codex to copy, too, though he didn't really understand why; they seemed to have enough of them already, and his handwriting was far from even acceptable by the standards that those books defined.
This meant that a sunny afternoon found Sweden, bent over a pad in one of the classrooms, trying to copy the words from the book in a nearly comical precision, or at least without making too many mistakes. The teacher had stared at him a couple of times now, demanding him to speed up, but there was no way that he could do that.
