I'm sorry, that must be painfully horrible *hugs* I wish your mum speed recovery and there's hoping that the doctors are right and the stroke was a light one and she will be back to herself sooner rather than later. I have limited experience in this, but simply judging by the state my father was after his stroke and other people I've met during doc visits and such, the first part of recovery is often more scary than the rest ends up being. I hope this will be the case here as well and you will get to see your mum soon. *hugs tightly*

Oh my. Hope your mum gets better soon and it really is a mild stroke and that she recovers with the right amount of treatment and therap. My godmother had a mild one too and recovered fully. Took some time and some speech and physical therapy. May it work like this for your mum. *hugs*
