I'm sorry, I thought this was funny

I saw a question posted on one of the communities I subscribe to, inquiring as to where someone in this town could purchase "vegan marshmallows"

I wasn't aware that such a thing existed. Aren't marshmallows entirely sugar, corn syrup, and air anyway?

Sugar, corn syrup, air and...boiled pig parts. Gelatin is made from the skin, connective tissue and bones of swine (usually) and is the major ingredient that holds marshmallows together (and gummy candies and Jello and a boatload of other stuff). Vegans, vegetarians and Jews won't eat it.

ah gotcha. I knew where they got gelatin from, I didn't realize it was an ingredient in marshmallows. Glad I learned something new today
