Not really much to say right now, since I've honestly never even heard of this person. I did read the vision statement ( Read more... )

I know him very well. I think he'll do good.

He was solid when working with me in the GRP process. I'm quite curious to see what he decides to do now.

Jesse is a great guy with a good head on his shoulders, and a desire to see the venues (both old and new world) thrive. I think he's going to do a good job at this. He's also really good about not breaking things that already work, and trying to fix things that don't, so I don't think you'll have too many complaints about Mage.

What concerned me was his statements which heavily implied that he wants to give all the power to the NSTs, rather than allow global to be, well, global. In mage that means all the metaplot/canon artifacts/npcs that global is using could suddenly be taken away, which could create mass confusion if one NST makes use of something unique and it shows up elsewhere because of another NST...

In short, if I could get the new MST to do one thing, it would be to let things go in mage as they're going (supporting status notifications remaining notifications and cracking down on bad National plots would only be bonus and is an unrealistic expectation given past attempts from global).

The same principle applies to the other venues, I just don't know how much of a presence there is between global and national there.

I guess I'll see what happens.
