This topic came up in some chat during RDA tonight, and I found this link, which expresses a lot about how I feel on the subject of obsessively posting kid related stuff on Facebook.

I'm going to be very glad when SCaRE is over. It's been exceedingly stressful trying to do anything in even a remotely organized fashion, and I don't like having to nag people to get things done that need doing.

Hm. I'd really like to go to the Chikalb event this year... Justin's even going to be in Chicago the Monday after for a few days on a nursing conference. Hospital paid for his ticket and hotel, but if I want to fly, 280+ a checked bag is too expensive. Justin and I will be at Caine, getting back Monday evening.   Even if I do have email access, I likely won't be checking it often, if at all.

I had some doctor appointments this week, Monday there was a physical exam for a different doctor, no problems there, test results take 2 weeks   Yesterday I had to go in early for insulin resistance and other bloodwork, which took hours.  The techs couldn't find veins for 5 of the 6 blood draws that had to be taken spaced out over the morning.  I ( Read more... )
