Movies: The DaVinci Code & X-Men: The Last Stand

I saw The DaVinci Code and X-Men: The Last Stand  last week. Some thoughts (spoilerish if you haven't seen the movies):

I haven't seen either movie yet, but your comment about Tom Hanks is great. He's not who I pictured either. I actually had a professor that is exactly who I would've cast. lol And Ian is fantastic; I can't wait to see him as Teabing.

I never really liked Tom Hanks that much but I was willing to give him a chance in this. But he was just too wrong for this character. It's kinda strange because I don't know who I would cast.

And Ian was so awesome as Teabing. I LOVED him. It was a great week with Ian in The DaVinci Code AND X-Men. Totally fantastic.

when I first saw the trailer I was disappointed because I thought both TH and AT were bad catings. but it turned out I really liked AT and was positively surprised by her. never really liked TH, though.

The DaVinci Code hab ich nicht gesehen, aber von X-Men 3 war ich enttäuscht xD Wie du schon geschrieben hast, ging alles zu schnell und die ganzen Storylines kamen zu kurz XD

Genau, es war gar nicht richtig eine Story, sondern eher verschiedene kleine Szenen, die man zu einem Film zusammengeworfen hat.
Wenn man jede einzelne Storyline besser behandelt hätte und ihnen mehr Aufmersamkeit geschenkt hätte, wäre es meiner Meinung nach sicher ein wirklich guter Film geworden. So waren aber alle storylines kurz angeschnitten, wurden dann aber nicht richtig ausgebaut und wieder abgehackt. Hat für mich den Film ein ziemlich zerstört.
