Mel is dressed in a light, long sleeved shirt and jeans, and has a small box with her. There are rustling noises coming from inside it, meaning Mel kept her promise about getting mice.

Fisher didn't seriously expect mice, so he's happily surprised with that. His ear and a half twitch, as do his whiskers and nose, and he gets up to hobble down two steps and bash his head against her leg. "Hey. Mr. Grumpyface is upstairs."

There are only a couple of them, but they should be good enough for him. Mel reaches down, hesitently, and scritches his ears if he lets her. "... we're gonna get her back, dammit." she looks a little upset. Mel misses her sister, goddammit. "Anyway, how is he?"

Two mice is a whole meal. He'll never be fat, but Fisher isn't as scrawny and bedraggled as he was when Courtney first met him. He's very interesed in the box...
Scritching is allowed, and probably appreciated more than ever. "She'll be okay, right?" That was not a plaintive mew, he just had some dust in his throat. "He's grumpier than usual and living on tea. He makes a lousy servant you know."
