Updates...
It's been far too long since I've updated this thing. So, updates:
- I have acquired two new chihuahua puppies, Pandora and Peanut, who are made of cute and awesome.
- I won NaNoWriMo yet again, this time with 62,112 words. I was trying for 100k, but didn't make it.
- I am planning on picking up the NaNo again sometime soon.
- I will be taking the ACT exam next Saturday.
- I may finally be going to college next fall, depending on whether or not I get enough scholarships, grants, and other monies to cover it.
- I just applied earlier this morning.
- I still need to do things like get transcripts, etc.
- I'll probably be majoring in English, unless I change my mind after I get there.
- It has been a year since Mom had her brain aneurysm.
- We still have a possible medical bill for Mom's medical helicopter, depending on whether or not the insurance company finally gets off their you-know-whats and pays.
- Dad may lose his job sometime in the near future.
- Our central heat and air unit broke down a few nights ago. Somebody is supposed to be coming by today to take a look at it.
- I don't know if applying to college right now is a good thing, but I think it's as good a time as any, considering how things have been going recently.
Not all has been bad, not all has been good. Sometimes it's sucked, sometimes it's been awesome, and sometimes it's been boring.
Now, someone (or perhaps Someone?) spork me if I don't update again sometime in the near future, please?
