Why does it seem like whenever I take a hiatus from LJ or the internet or whatever, interesting things happen, and then when I'm present it just all seems boring? What the crap?

Anyway, need to study for finals and shit. Blegh.

It's because when you're around the interesting things are spread over periods of time so that you don't notice them. When you leave and come back you see a weeks worth of stuff at once, making it seem like you missed more.
