Speaking of 'non-biased' sources of info, I recommend The Week. I got the magazine subscription with an online subscription to something else and it is the one magazine I read all the way through every week I get it. It takes views/articles from around the world from different points of view to give a well-rounded summation of things going on in the world.

Now for one of your points:
Having the Commander-in-Chief of our military deposed and replaced mid-war is a scary proposition. The troops support and follow him, and he, or at least his people, are well informed of the current situation-and the time it takes for a new pres to get up to speed is time that the opposition, whomever they are, can take to kill Americans.That is exactly what Bush is trying to cash in on when it comes to being re-elected. There are a number of things I've read that have given me pause concerning his actions as of recent - a number of political journalists have been thinking that his backing of Ariel Sharon in Israel is partially an election move to get ( ... )

The thing is, as much as I disagree with Bush, I feel that he IS doing a very good job of protecting Americans from foreign terrorist attacks ( ... )

Andrew and I were having a similar conversation at dinner last night...and my thought was this: with two candidates that nobody really likes why isn't there an independent candidate sweeping in? I think that this is the best time a third party will ever have at gaining a large percentage of the vote.
