I know many of you disagree with me on lots of political points-I'm glad we live in a country were we can all comfortably disagree. I wanted to let you guys know about a really cool movement I've joined- Unity08. It is an on-line political process with the goal of shaking up the 2008 election by nominating and electing a mixed-party ballot

OMG! He exists. I haven't seen you around in forever.

I like to THINK that our political system more or less does work that way. You get the occasional Cynthia McKenney or Tom Tancredo but FTMP you end up with centrists in the major positions.

Unfortunately our country has become very polarized and so it is swinging wildly from one extreme to the other. I concur that this is not good for the country.

How do I find this website? I googled "unit08" and "unit 08" and got nothin'...

Though the image is broken, it looks like the name might actually be "Unity08." See if you get better results from http://www.unity08.com/

The image is broken, but the link still works to take you to the webpage. How I managed to type "unit" instead of "unity" every time is beyond me.
