Inara emerged from her shuttle looking around at the immaculate cargo bay with astonishment. There was no one in sight. What in the ‘vesre was going on? When had aliens taken over the ship?

I really like the idea of a *female* war buddy visiting Mal. Great way to stir up Inara's jealousy and make the rest of the crew a little off balance!!

*blush* I actually feel bad becuase I told someone not to write something similar to this because it was too cliche. I really...I mainly did this for my original character, Cory.
