I want to write. I expressed my desire to Mark, who told me that the barest essential was to produce at least 500 words per day. He suggested Wordpress, but I would need hosting, blah blah blah. Livejournal has become passe due to misuse, but I already have an account. Here I am. Again. The old familiar site, home to the most pseudo-intellectual

I suppose I never saw the quest for book knowledge as being as important as investing in people and gaining knowledge in that way, though they are both of importance.

Glad to see you're writing here again...I hope to see further compositions, seriously.

Sanders:

I usually see book knowledge as related to personal interaction. I don't read something without bouncing what I took from that reading off of someone later...like you, for instance.

Also, I see the value of book learning (for myself) as opening me to new perspectives on God (regardless of what subject or author I am reading). Thus, if I learn to think about Christ in a new way due to something that I have read, that will influence how I relate to people.

I don't mean to come across as sounding like I'm divorcing book knowledge and personal interaction.

I was returning books which I checked out earlier in the semester. I also ate at A Thai Spoon, which was great.

Then I forgot where I parked, and walked around UGA's campus for ALMOST 2 HOURS!!! And the weird thing was, I kept walking in loops that lead me back to the intersection of Sanford and Cedar. It was weird, I couldn't get away from that intersection.
