The crash after utter euphoria...

Oh man, we had an absolutely incredible thunderstorm tonight. I sat out on the ledge outside my window for over half an hour, just watching it. I've been craving a summer thunderstorm. The other day I walked to the symphony concet downtown, and on the way there it was blazing hot and humid, but when I came out 2 hours later it was gray and the wind was blowing and you could just feel the storm was coming. So when I got back to school I sat in the courtyard and waited for the rain, but it never came.

So I am jealous.

Yeah, it sucks when there's all that build-up, and everything feels tense and heavy, and you know something should be coming...and then nothing happens.

Apparently then it rained tonight and all sorts of people got caught outside and frolicked in it and relieved all kinds of tension. And I was totally, woefully unaware.

Oh man, that's great. Frolicking in the rain, than it. Missing it is bad.

I was taking a nap this evening, and was rudely awoken by about 20 people gathered outside Main, screaming and yelling, with sparklers. I have no idea what they were doing...

I wouldn't have to die necessarily. Some sort of horrific, debilitating injury would do.
