I've been made manager. Not that it's hard to get there in catering but still, there are girls there who have worked for John for 18 plus months and in strolls me, a few shifts later and I'm boss. :P

God, I'm loving that I'm a bossy boots right now. Sometimes, it really pays off! Looks like I've just scored myself a payrise too. Beeeaauuuuu-ty!

Congrats on being made manager! What do you have to do now that you didn't have to do before? You must have shown a lot of ability at the job to be made manager over the other girls!

My new 'role' is to run the show. :)

Instead of taking orders or doing what everyone else is doing, I now tell them all what to do.

To be perfectly frank, I'm certain it has nothing to do with my ability as such. More that I'm older, bossier and have worked doing this stuff before. Instead of putting it down to ability, let's just say it's general experience that tipped the scales.

Plus, I'm a mum. Employers usually poo poo the old "I'm a mum, I could rule the world if I had to" line but I can honestly say, they don't know what they're missing out on.
Mum's usually know a thing or two about stuff other people don't know - purely because we have no coice but to learn it.
