Question for Mazda3 Owners

Jun 24, 2006 17:11

Hello out there. I still haven't gotten one yet but I am still trying.

My question is,...

Is there a bike rack made to go on the Mazda 3? I have yet to see any for sale. Anyone know about this?

Thanks

Try to search: http://www.mazdastuff.com/directory.cfm?CategoryID=251
Also, I saw it on japanese mazda's web. (don't remember URL)

There are generic trumk-mount ones you can get that will work on the 4-door, but...you would probably have to look into a roof-rack system for the 5-door.....or get some drop-cloths and put your seats down. Bikes can be passengers too! ;)

I've got the Yakima roof rack system with two Raptor mountian bike carriers, and I love it. Have had it for a litlte over a year now I think, and it still works great. Pics here:

It was a bit spendy and tricky to install (lots of measuring and putting crap together), but totally worth it. Especially since I can easily get attachments to carry other stuff when I need to (like snowboards or luggage or whatever).
