So, for as much as I try to keep this an alcohol free house, Mike and I have some (although we don't drink it) and Val is currently drinking Pepsi and vodka. This is not okay. But what can I do? *scowl-stalk-skulk*
Double standard? I mean, I respect your choice, but prefacing it with the opposite isn't good for arguments' sake. Not that it's an argument or anything.
So why do you have alcohol, then?
P.S. Val moved in with you, yes? You should make clear to her that you'd rather keep booze out of the house.
I think it's more the fact that I was drinking the alchohol I have. I just wish she would have said more to me than "you never need it" when I said I

Matters like this had been discussed and had then clearly been broken, so now the rules have been re-explained, hopefully now to both parties and in a much clearer way so as for there to be no miscommunication in the future.
Everyone I've spoken with can't figure out why this is such a big deal. I've told you what's up. I've heard your side. Keep it out of the house or lie to me. What could be simpler than that?
not asking what i'm drinking because I will tell you exactly what is in my drink and what my swizzler is for. That's a hell of a lot simpler. Or just not caring since I am a responsible adult and was doing nothing wrong.

I hope you're feeling better, Val. Just remember a day is a day and rarely anything more (though you never know... *shifty eyes*).
