So this is from a good friend of mine who I have been talking with lately, and it seems we have many of the same thoughts and feelings when it comes to... quite a bit, though specifically for the purpose of this post, cuddles/snuggles/relationships. Here are a few of the direct quotes

Being somebody who has never gotten his sex from somebody whom he did not get his cuddles, I can say that I quite enjoy getting my cuddles from multiple sources. It's oddly comforting.

I very much agree, though I must add something as well. While the desires are entirely separate, it has so far been the case that those desires will often coincide toward the same person. Moreover, in personal experience, I have not yet had the opportunity to have sex with someone with whome I was not previously involved in a cuddly-unconscious-sleeping-with relationship, so I have only yet experienced them as forward-progressing. I can, however, say that I have been very sexually attracted to people with whome I know for a fact I would dislike cuddly-sleep.

Present societal standards tend to blur the lines for us, but I know that I have definitely been very happy with a bedfellow without sex. The only problem I have had so far being happy with sex without a bedfellow is that whenever that opportunity has arisen, it was with someone with whome I was previously a happy bedfellow, and has thus sparked that need.
