Try drinking more water (like 128 oz a day). Also, I know you don't want to hear it, but try putting more soy/tofu in your diet. Like mix half chicken/half flavored tofu. It'll give you lots of vitamins and energy. You can borrow my dog and take her for a walk. That'll burn like 90 bajillion calories. :)
Congratulations on making it past the hardest step! It's so cool that you guys are taking the time to care for yourselves. It's also cool that you understand it's not just dieting that will keep you healthy; that's only a small part of it. Exercise is what will really do it for you. Look at me preaching already. Like I'm Jane Fonda. Anyhow, what really, really helps me is Christopher's heart-rate monitor (which I kinda stole from him - teehee). It gives me something to think about besides the pain of running. I run better and am able to go for longer.
I'm jealous that you have someone to work out with! I have my ipod & monitor and that's about it. Good luck tomorrow!
