I know! I mailed them back saying that.

Not exactly that (XD), but I DID make the background white and I played with the colors.

Psh, they shouldn't have kicked her out. Couldn't they have just asked you to enter a non-Photoshopped one?
I noticed a few entries that are so Photoshopped, and a few that were breaking the rules...

Someone body swapped, which some people count as customizing, and I think someone swapped a wig.

That sucks! You should post the cut picture on your LJ, I'm curious how "obvious" the photoshopping is...

It is "obvious" how I used Photoshop, and I thought it was allowed to make the background color something else.

It totally sux0rz. D:

The rules clearly state that it's okay to use photoshop to "tweak" a picture (enhance colors, play with the lighting, ect.). Photoshopping an ENTIRE BACKGROUND is NOT "tweaking" a photo. It's a PHOTO CONTEST, not a PHOTOSHOP contest. It's about taking good pictures, not making them look awesome via a computer program.

Yeesh.

so...like the person who obviously photoshoped in the oscar wasn't kicked...nor were the body and wig swappers...so why lecture us...we do know the rules...

Then quit whining and take it up with the judges. Pointing fingers and going, "BUT LOOKIT THEM!!" isn't the mature thing to do.

Of course it's not a "PHOTOSHOP contest." I do admit that I did make a mistake in my entry, and that I did not read the rules right, but what makes me mad is that the judges didn't ask me for my original photo so I could enter it.

May I ask who you are, Anonymous poster?
