Why is it that you find God so prominent in everything that you do? I'm not saying, myself being the anonymous person that I am, that I dont believe in a higher power, but why run your life around something that you dont even know is true? I just seriously have never grasped the idea of putting all my faith in something that could be fake, made up, totally a scam...

well, that's the whole idea of faith... the way i see it, there has to be something, someone who created this worl we live in, whose in charge of what's going down, I am convinced by the proof of the lives of the people in the Bible and that it is TRUTH, plus, i would rather live a good life (since Christianity doesn't encourage you to do or act in any way that a moral person wouldn't do anyways... (do not kill... do not steal... etc.) and so i can follow this, live a good life, be happy, live with hope and then find out that it paid off and go to Heaven (as I believe) or it can be false and i would have lived a good life anyways... or I could be a "rebel" and do whatever i want and either find out i'm screwed to go to hell, or find out that it was all fake and then i may have lived a bad life, dies of a sexually transmitted disease, etc... whatever... i mean, my faith gives me hope, something to look forward to, the reassurance that someone else is invariably in control of my life... i don't know how else to express myself through ( ... )
