Despite my LJ name, I don't believe the bone claws bullshit myself, even though it was in Origins and makes Wolvie much cooler to play with in history. I maintain that the Weapon X program bestowed unto him those glorious instruments of destruction. I also maintain that Wolverine was a caveman, based on his shortness, stoutness, hairy-ness, big nose, primal instincts/senses, what-have-you, and that not only was he (not Apocalypse) the first mutant, but that he is immortal.

But then I'm crazy and delusional. Enjoy my icon.

You rock. I've never heard the caveman theory, was it in Origins? I never got around to reading it, as cool as it looked. It's a good idea though, never thought about it. And yes, the Weapon X thing is much more plausible than the bone claws. Well, as plausible as a short, hairy canuck with insane healing powers running around the woods can be. (And no, I'm not a guy.)
