Back at home

So, I got back from Nashville tonight. The trip was pretty fun. I laughed a lot, which I needed. Didn't really do much of anything, which was nice. I didn't have to worry about work, which is awesome, cuz I was getting tired of it. I really don't want to go back on Monday though. Oh well, not much of a choice. I honestly didn't do all that much, so ( Read more... )

As far as Jager being over-rated, I don't know who rated it for you so I'm gonna let that go... however, by my rating it tastes like bad cough syrup (too minty), but the experience lies in the intoxication, which is unique and often intense.

As far as Guinness goes, do not condemn all of its deliciously dark brethren... Dos Equis draught is really good, as are many other fine non-lacquer-based dark beers.

Well, I didn't drink a whole lot of the Jager. I need to stay away from sweet liquors for a while...I drank way too much rum a few weeks ago, and got majorly sick, so I'm still shying away from the sweet stuff because it just turns my stomach. I was trying to to Jager Bombs too, which didn't help matters because Red Bull is just pretty much pure liquid sugar. LoL I'm sure at some point I'll give Jager another shot. (No pun intended)

As far as the beer...I really don't think I'm a fan of dark beers. I don't like really bitter things. I prefer the pale ale's or lagers. (Though I really have not tried that many different beers, so I can't say too much).

1. after taking time off from the "sweet stuff", get yourself a bottle of Jager and a friend to babysit you and get Jager-drunk like there's no tomorrow

2. find yourself a bar with a wide selection of beers (both dark and pale) that has a $2 pint night and work your way through their "menu"; also, pretty much every Mexican restaurant has Dos Equis draught, often for a dollar, and Dos Equis isn't bitter

Yeah, I'll have to wait till September to do the whole bar thing, since I'm not 21 yet. But I'm sure once I turn 21, I'll do something along those lines.
