I'm not sure about the chair choice.

I really like 1 and 5 because there's a little foreground action going on and they look less... posed.

I'm curious what the goal is here; gallery? personal masturbation material? portfolio?

I'm not sure if maybe you need to have a prop or another location when shooting these guys. Knowing the goal would help us critique. Or maybe the answer is in your lj somewhere. I'll look...

hey rob.. i strive to create shots that seem more candid and less posed.. i'm fairly new so thats definately something i'm still working on. i'm currently doing a lot of studio portraits for the purpose of a portfolio and just cuz i think its fun, i don't have a fancy studio or anything, i just check out lighting from my school and use my apt. thanks for the comments
