So, you have personas, you've entered battle, you used skills... and you might be wondering, how do they work? Well, wonder no more!
There are exactly 11 different skills. 10 of them are elemental attacks, while the eleventh skill is special.
Skills define the guidelines you'll need to follow when making your icon, but not only that! You may have noticed the skills have levels - a skill's level determines the amount of bonus points you'll earn for striking at an enemy's weakness. The ratio is as follows:
Lv.1: 50% bonus
Lv.2: 100% bonus
Lv.3: 150% bonus
For instance, let's say you attack an enemy that gives 10 base points and is weak to fire.
Fire Lv.1 will give you 15 points
Fire Lv.2 will give you 20 points
Fire Lv.3 will give you 25 points
So it's to your advantage to not only use a skill that the enemy's weak against, but also to use a high-level skill to earn more points.
The skill Bonus isn't an elemental - instead, it gives you bonus points for each battle automatically! The amount of points is understandably smaller than if you used an elemental, but it's automatic and stacks with other skills!
Bonus Lv.1: 25% bonus
Bonus Lv.2: 50% bonus
Bonus Lv.3: 75% bonus
So, using the above example, you'd get 12.5 points with level 1, 15 points with level 2, and 17.5 points with level 3.
Keep in mind you can choose up to 2 elemental attacks to use in battle and you have to use the corresponding icon guidelines for the skills to work! If you make an icon that's red, but your persona doesn't have any fire skills, it doesn't count!
The Bonus skill is used automatically and doesn't require any guidelines.
Important! If you use a skill the enemy is strong against, you'll lose 50% the base points you'd earn (no matter the skill level)! So pay attention to which skills you use!
If the enemy is neither strong nor weak against the skill you use, you gain the normal base points.
You must use a skill to defeat an enemy! So even if you have no skills they're weak against, you need to pick a skill or you can't battle!
If you use the Almighty elemental, you must use two skills simultaneously - your icon doesn't need to follow the guidelines, but you have to pick two elementals to use. Additionally, each Almighty attack (both skills together) costs 150 gold.
