cards

You may have noticed that for each enemy you defeat, you have the option of drawing a card. What's that supposed to mean?

Cards may contain one out of three things:

- Bonus Points - If you draw a bonus points card, it'll boost your base points for that battle.
- Bonus Money - If you draw a bonus money card, it'll boost the amount of gold you earn for that battle.
- Persona - If you draw a persona card, you can choose to add it to your inventory, or sell it (if you don't want it or don't have the room).

Bonus Points and Bonus Money cards have five different levels. Here's the boosts you get per level:

Bonus Points

Level 1: 10% bonus
Level 2: 20% bonus
Level 3: 30% bonus
Level 4: 40% bonus
Level 5: 50% bonus

Bonus Money

Level 1: 25% bonus
Level 2: 50% bonus
Level 3: 75% bonus
Level 4: 100% bonus
Level 5: 150% bonus

If you draw a Persona card, it may have any persona within, except for those that can only be obtained via fusion. The chance of a persona being drawn depends on its rarity:

★: 50% chance
★★: 30% chance
★★★: 15% chance
★★★★: 5% chance

Lastly, there's a small chance (5%) that the card you draw will be cursed. If you draw a cursed card, you'll get what's in the card, but you'll lose all other points/money from that battle!

Note: Say you fought an enemy that gives 10 points, drew a level 5 bonus points card (+5 points) and it was cursed - you'll lose your 10 points, but keep the +5 from the card.
